How to Replace a Pull Chain Light Fixture?
To replace a pull chain light fixture, you need to do the following steps:
- First, turn on the light to be sure that the power is on.
- Turn off the power
- Using a voltage tester, test black or red wire and double-check that power is off.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the screws, remove the wires from the old light, and replace them with a new one.

To fix a pull string light, you need to turn off the power and replace the light bulb. If this is not an issue, then check are the wires damaged. If they are, try to cut damaged parts or replace all cables. Additionally, replace the broken pull chain for the light bulbs.
