- Contacting the deliverers: In this case, you must immediately contact the FedEx company and let them know of the mishap. Most likely, the FedEx company resolves the issue within a day or two, and you are communicated about what might have happened. Deliverers usually can tell you the exact place where they put your package.
- Speak to those living nearby: this is especially important if you live in a gated community or apartments. There can be issues regarding where the package is, or the gatekeeper may have received it. You should keep a check or let them know beforehand that a package will arrive in the coming days.
- Front door: There can often be an instance when you or someone at your home are not around, so the delivery guys place the package on the front door. Make sure to check around the front door thoroughly.
- Please wait for some days: In most cases, when you have communicated about the mishap, you will get the package or information regarding it in some days. Overall, you should ensure that there is no spelling mistake or any information mistake while writing the package.

Sometimes recipient will get the message “package delivered to recipient address release authorized.” In that case, usually, the shipper didn’t pay for signature service (No signature required option), and FedEx leaves the package in a safe place without obtaining a signature. If you didn’t get the package, you need to check with your neighbors or family members.
The best solution is to ask shippers to choose the “signature required” option when sending you packages. In that case, your package will safely be delivered to you.
