# How Many Grams in a Cup?

One of the biggest problems in conversion is using the metric system and US Imperial system conversion. The problem occurs because of two things. The first issue is that the Imperial system has different accuracy than metric because if we increase weight in grams by 1, we have much bigger accuracy than if we use 1, half, 1/3, or 2/3 cups. The next issue is that 1 cup of each substance, such as water, butter, the potato has a different weight in grams.

Recently we wrote an article where we showed conversion of 350 grams to cups. However, in this article, we will show various examples of conversions for various ingredients.

One cup of milk and one cup of potato or 1 cup of nuts can not have the same weight. So the first question is:
