How to Use Liquid Toothpaste?

Liquid toothpaste is a replacement option for those who prefer to use something different than the conventional paste formula. The liquid toothpaste is available in two forms.

liquid toothpasteThe first one is entirely usable available in spray bottles. The latter is a combination of gel and liquid. A measuring cap on these bottles is available for pouring the liquid during brushing. The best part is the edible formula in this toothpaste. You don’t have to spit out the toothpaste. The gel formula is hugely for those fond of regular toothpaste but still are determined to explore something new.

 How to use Liquid Toothpaste?

To use a spray bottle of liquid toothpaste, one may easily spray two or three shots in his/ her mouth and then swish it. The minimum time for the toothpaste to move around the oral cavity is (recommended) 30 Seconds. For the best results, you can extend the time limit to two to three minutes. Use a toothbrush to loosen the hardened debris, which sometimes becomes quite difficult to remove. Once done, either spit or swallow the toothpaste.
Adults and children 2 years of age and older: brush teeth thoroughly with toothpaste, preferably after each meal or at least twice a day, or as directed by a dentist or physician. Children 2 to 6 years: use only a pea-sized amount and supervise the child’s brushing and rinsing (to minimize swallowing).

Is toothpaste a solid or liquid?
Toothpaste is a colloid because it’s part solid and part liquid. However, toothpaste has a definite shape and volume, like a solid, while Liquids include toiletries such as shampoo, after-shave, hand or body lotion, mouthwash, and liquid makeup.

The user generally drinks a measured cap of liquid, swishes in their mouth, and then spits out. Further, the user may use a dry toothbrush to remove the leftover or the ensuing debris. These toothbrushes are beneficial for those who are not stable or going for any medical treatment. It is also helpful for those who are very busy and don’t have access to bathrooms—for example, frequent travelers or army personals.

The gel is thick enough to spread on the toothbrush. While brushing, it converts into liquid. It is a perfect choice for those who don’t like spitting out and crap the toothpaste emulsion texture.
